Adventure time promos

Adventure Time might just be the most epic and entertaining animated TV series of all time, and working on it remains one of my favorite projects. Or rather, a collection of projects.

Finn & Jake's Travel Guide

Cartoon Network Nordics tasked me with creating an entire promo package for their summer campaign of Adventure Time. The master trailer featured a sweeping flyover of the Land of Ooo, accompanied by shorter spots that highlighted the world’s rich, quirky charm. I was thrilled to learn that Cartoon Network Europe appreciated the final product so much that they included it in their continental broadcasts.

Christmas in N-ooo-vember

Later that autumn, Cartoon Network Nordics returned requesting a Christmas promo package, featuring a 24-episode Christmas calendar. Embracing the quirky spirit of the Land of Ooo, the calendar aired in November—the dullest month of the year. The success of this production led to several more collaborations with Cartoon Network Europe, including a follow-up Christmas in N-ooo-vember campaign the next year. This was my first production combining live action with animation.

In the initial production, I served as director. In subsequent projects, I also took on the producer role alongside my colleague Johan Sonestedt. At the height of these productions, I managed a team of 25 people spread across five countries.

Side Effect

An unexpected side effect of these projects was an invitation to speak and lead an animation workshop for young creators at the children's animation festival in Niš, Serbia. I even appeared on a Serbian morning show, where they featured our work—thankfully, after I’d had my morning coffee.
